Empowering students with the Gospel of Christ through Biblical teaching in Northeast Georgia and Western North Carolina.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we collaborate with our local school system to offer biblically-based courses to public high school students during school hours for elective credit.
Our team consists of community leaders dedicated to fostering biblical literacy and spiritual growth for the next generation. These individuals make up the Appalachian Christian Leadership Council. Our main priority is to create and manage released-time programs that allow public school students to study the Bible for academic credit.
In 2019, the Lord began to lay the groundwork for the Appalachian Leadership Council. The AppCLC officially became a nonprofit 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in November 2023. After a lot of prayer, hard work, and community support, the Towns County School Board approved the installation of our first Christian Learning Center.
The mission of AppCLC is to share God’s word in the North Georgia and North Carolina mountains. Utilizing a range of resources, we aim to offer Biblically-based education, activities, and events centered on biblical knowledge, character development, leadership skills, and positive community engagement.
